Wheeler Dealers 1985 Maserati Bi Turbo
Mike and Edd revamped a 1985 Maserati Bi Turbo that literally has no Bi Turbo under the hood. The vehicles original V6 motor was a twin turbo that wasn't very reliable in any sense of the word. In the early 90's, the owner at that time stripped the Maserati of all the combustion engine related mechanical parts and converted it to electric.
The current electric motor that is installed in the Bi Turbo is old technology and Edd wants to give this car a major upgrade to current technology which includes our AC34x2 motor and Curtis controllers. This is the first electric car that Wheel Dealers has had in the workshop.
To assist Edd and Mike in making this classic car an awesome conversion they employed the help from Michael Bream and his team at EV West.
