The AC-9 motor is our original "Golf Car" motor which has proven itself to be powerful, reliable and efficient. We now have improved the functionality of this motor by adding an Automatic Parking Brake!
The automatic parking brake engages when the cart comes to a complete stop. The brake will hold the golf car in position until the user depresses the accelerator pedal to disengage the automatic parking brake and drives away. With this system, the mechanical brakes and mechanical parking brakes are still installed in the vehicle.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This Automatic Parking Brake Setup is Specific to Golf Cars That Are Stock; Meaning Stock Ride Height, Stock Tires and Stock Gearing
The weight of this motor is around 50 pounds/22.7 Kg.

Of course all our golf car drive systems are backed by a HPEVS
Included in the package with this motor is the controller of your choice based on the amount of current needed to drive the vehicle efficiently, wiring harness (generic or specific based on your needs), dash display and an controller mounting plate. Also available are #2 battery/motor cables. The #2 battery/motor cables are needed with all our golf car system. We offer these cables as an option to purchase, but you can make your own cables as well.
